151 Days Left - Wurking On gsFirsite CRM System

I sent out a few sales emails to 189 of my previous transer dealers. I have about 17000 or so total but the list isnt clean and some of them I havent talked to in ages. I am just getting started contacting these guys about follow on sales and getting them into a sales pipeline.

I had originally coded my own CustomerResourceManagementSystem but it was lacking in a few places but it did integrate with my system pretty well. I eventually went with a HubSpot CRM system and just downloaded a few of my contacts into the system to see how it works. So far everything seems fine.

I was able to connect my email and my Open Phone system so I can send emails and make calls and have everything recorded into the logging. Ill try it out more tomrrow and see how it goes

Sales Emails

So heres the deal. I spent almost a year coding gsFiresite and I have been running Tn Arms on it for the last 7 months or so.

I never intended my own business to be the only ones using it though. It was always meant to be a subscription based system. Like a Shopify for gun dealers I guess. Objectively it has been super useful for the business and is a hell of a value for the $89 a month I am presently charging.

The problem with software is that no matter how cool a system is, if no one is using it, it is worthless.

I have been trying to get the word out there that gsFiresite is a thing and it is a great system for any gun dealer. This is way harder than you might think. You can call, send emails, text, smoke signal, but getting people to try out your thing out of the blue is freaking hard as hell.

Daily Progress

Evening Workout

  • 50 Burpees
  • 100 Bungee Curls
  • 50 1-pood Kettlebell Swings
  • 50 Jumping Jacks

I was a bit sore from yesterday so i tried to focus on upper body. Not gonna lie, those burpees were a bitch.

The bungee curls started to be rough at about 65 or so. I rolled into sets of 10 from 25.

The jumping jacks were just to get my reps in. After all that I was spent.

I am going to try for 50 burpees every day this week and then roll to 75 the next. Hopefully the last two months I can maintain 100 per day on top of about 200 reps of something else.

Today was a CRM Make Money Process Day

I am super happy with the results of my cold email. Out of 187 emails I sent out, I got 59 opens, not one reported for spam.

Not a single person told me to go to hell and die, that might be a first in cold email outreach history.

After integrating HubSpot CRM and getting everything hooked up tomorrow is going to be more reaching out and developing a process that we will repeat every day along every customer path. We have dealers to recruit and software to sell. Things are looking up

Software is great, other than an eternity of work to build it you can host it somewhere for about 50 bucks a month. Every 100 customers is more or less 100k in recurring revenue every year. Thats just a handful of customers a month. I can totally do this.

Mom's House

My nieghbor Rick text me earlier about helping me get Mom's house finished as my plate is so full. As much as I would like to finish it myself I might need to pick my battles on this one. There just doesnt seem to be enough hours in the day most days.

Ill try to get with him this week and figure out a legitimate scope of work to move this project on along.
